A cloud does not know why it moves in just such a direction and at such a speed, it feels an impulsion….this is the place to go now.

Today is the first day of post filing and it’s off to the races, which to me means business as usual. (If there is such a thing as usual at MMRGlobal).

Starting now visitors to the MyMedicalRecords.com site will be treated to an industry first promotion program entitled “Check-Up” which gives users to our site a $25.00 cash refund after their first Doctor visit as an MMR Member. I believe this is the first time that a product of our type has deployed traditional cash refund sales promotion strategies to market its products and services. So if you do not have an MMR account now would be a great time to set one up.

We promised a series of advertising and promotion programs. The light box concept that serves this offer up was created from the Daytime Emmy Awards program. We served a similar trial offer with great conversions and this is the next step in designing our consumer product site to be in consumers faces with reasons to buy.

Over the next month you will see offers like this featured on many of your favorite travel, health and entertainment related sites. We are also perusing a segment on Personal Health Records in the Emmy Award winning television show “The Doctors”, and looking at numerous other audience placement opportunities (although in Hollywood one never knows where opportunities come from).

A lot of information came out on the Company yesterday and if anyone has any questions I will go do my best to be available should you contact us.

This line from Illusions seemed very appropriate “A cloud does not know why it moves in just such a direction and at such a speed, it feels an impulsion….this is the place to go now”……..

Since I think MMRGlobal is clearly headed in the right direction at the right time. And clearly as more and more people find out about this Company it should be good for all involved.

I hope all of our customers, friends and shareholders will continue to join this very exciting journey with me.

THE MORE YOU PUT OUT IN THE UNIVERSE THE MORE YOU GET BACK……..

Yesterday an article appeared in OTC Showcase. The article is entitled “MMRGLOBAL CEO WINS 2ND APPEAL WITH USDA; HAS THE USDA GONE ROGUE?” The writer Andrew Klips has been involved daily in the stock market, primarily the small caps, for nearly 15 years teaching young traders market psychology and technical analysis. His articles are published across the web and in industry publications. According to the writer “OTC Showcase is a website designed to bring exposure to small cap companies with ethical business practices and potential.”

The article profiles me and my seven year battle with the USDA which began in an effort to save more than 800 wild and exotic animals located at the Wildlife WayStation (WWS) north of Los Angeles. In my unofficial role as “Best Friend” to the WayStation I helped the non-profit sanctuary, which has rescued and rehabilitated over 70,000 animals since its inception, correct more than 400 violations to come into compliance and regain its State Fish and Game and USDA Licenses. Details of the matter are discussed in the article at http://www.otcshowcase.com/?p=817. By coincidence of timing the most recent USDA decision is within days of the well-publicized USDA firing of Shirley Sherrod.

The case started in 2003 when the USDA filed a complaint against the Wildlife WayStation for code violations. During a meeting at the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors where I was assisting the Wildlife WayStation on zoning matters, I asked representatives of the USDA what would happen if the WayStation could not cure all the violations. I was told that a large portion of the animal population could be euthanized. I told the representative of the USDA that attended that meeting by phone that was not an acceptable outcome. And I went to work helping the nonprofit organization cure all of the then pending violations which took years. I called on friends, business associates, local law enforcement and celebrities in the Hollywood community.

After the Wildlife WayStation raised and spent millions on compliance and received all necessary permits and licenses from county, state and federal agencies, the USDA filed a lawsuit, apparently with complete disregard for the lives of these animals. As part of the 2nd amended complaint to the lawsuit (in what seemed like a vendetta), I was brought into the case personally. The USDA pursued the organization for seven years in what I would describe as a giant waste of taxpayer money and seven figures of defense costs. In the interim, the Wildlife WayStation still exists today and continues to save the lives of countless animals that otherwise might not be alive.

After a 3 week trial Marc R. Hillson, Chief Administrative Law Judge, stated in his first Decision in the case, “In many ways, the government’s case against Lorsch illustrates the maxim that ‘no good deed goes unpunished.’

Many of you know me through press releases, blogs and bulletin boards however you do not know me personally. So I felt this story gave me an opportunity to share my passion for getting things done and to let you know that I will continue to take that same passion and intensity to everything I do including MMRGlobal and continued philanthropic endeavors. The video link that follows shows some of that passion http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=46tDuo-Q1ds.

I am fortunate to have been the recipient of many awards, including D.A.R.E. America’s “Future of America Award”; the Muscular Dystrophy Association’s “Humanitarian of the Year Award”, the Wildlife Way Station’s “Paws of Fame Humanitarian Award and the prestigious “C” Flag Private Sector Initiative from the White House during the Reagan Administration for raising millions of dollars for the financing of state and local earthquake preparedness education and many others. I attribute my knowledge from earthquake and disaster preparedness to the development of some of the company’s patented emergency features located on MMRGlobal’s www.mymedicalrecords.com website. So I plan on continuing to pour into the universe and believe that as a result much will come back.

Every person, all the events of your life, are there because you have drawn them there. What you choose to do with them is up to you.

Being CEO of MMRGlobal (or any public Company) can be one of the loneliest jobs in the world. I am forced to make decisions on a daily basis that are based on my experience and what I often refer to as my “natural knowing”.
There is a sign that follows me everywhere which says “To Be Average scares The Hell Out Of Me”, so I have the self- imposed pressure of being anything but average and caring about all the people that are somehow connected to my life.

I share the emotional highs and emotional lows of all the people in my life. That may sound unusual to some of you; however when a person cares, they share in the excitement and enthusiasm of everyday life and, in my case that includes MMRGlobal and all of you. That also includes the frustration and sometimes disappointment when things “appear” not to be going the way we all want them to.

However, there are only 2 options in life, the first to allow the frustration and disappointment to take control of our actions, or to place one foot in front of another and push forward at 110%, embracing every moment with excitement and enthusiasm and optimism.

I choose the latter. That’s why this week, like all weeks since MyMedicalRecords.com was founded nearly 5 years ago, the machine and Bob Lorsch keep churning forward.

Sales of MMRPro (www.mmrmdvideos.com) are poised to receive a tremendous boost from the clarity of Meaningful Use, announced this week. The attention to our products by physicians is greater than ever and although we are not an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) in the literal sense, we are the easiest, most user-friendly first step to deployment of an EMR in the physician’s office.

MMRPro represents the first step for any health care professional in deploying an EMR. And the MMR Stimulus program represents double (or more) the stimulus to physicians when compared to any government program offered during the first 3 years of use.

And after the first 3 years MMR’s stimulus rebates increase by an estimated 25% a year (or more) for as long as the system is deployed in a physician’s office. In fact, an average small group practice with 2.5 practicing physicians could easily receive as much as $200,000 per year in MMR stimulus after the first 5 years of use for as long as they continue to use the MMRPatientView module.

I have suggested over the last several years that having a personal health record will be as important as having a credit report. The Meaningful Use criteria means MMR can become the TRW of Personal Health Records.
We are the best and most user-friendly personal health record available on the direct to consumer market today. If you haven’t already done so, open an account today. It takes just minutes and it’s free for 30days, so find out for yourself. Go to www.mymedicalrecords.com and sign up with the registration code EMMY.

Also, to take advantage of “Back To School” and students who will need checkups, the Company will launch its first “Cash Refund” promotion later this month. “Put the Future of Your Health at Work Today with $25 Toward Your Next Check-Up or Doctor Visit”. It’s designed to encourage good health and a product trial with a usage call to action. Millions of consumers will see our Commercials online. See it for yourself at www.mmrontv.com.
When they respond, they will be offered a trial program, which includes a cash refund of $25.00 for opening a test account, and placing a medical record in their account. The program is designed to shake up the industry and get people to use the product during their trial period.

And if all that does not keep me busy this week, I continue to focus on institutional investors, platform development, M&A opportunities, the litigation with LRF (which can represent a tremendous win for shareholders when you see the billions of dollars of valuation recently added to Dendreon), the launch of Esafe, and my marriage (the latter of which is the most joyful).

And speaking of Esafe (www.myesafevideos.com), the Company will soon preview its first ESafe television campaign, featuring a series regular from “The Event”, coming September 20th, on NBC-TV.

I started out this blog with this quote from the book “Illusions”, ‘Every person, all the events of your life, are there because you have drawn them there. What you choose to do with them is up to you.’
What I choose to do with my time at MMRGlobal is continue to work on building shareholder value by positioning MMRGlobal as a worldwide provider of Health Information Technologies for Health Care Professionals and consumers.

So what can you “Choose To Do?” Try the product (if you haven’t already), tell everyone you know about this Company and what a great opportunity it can represent for managing their family’s health, and ultimately its shareholders.

MMR AT THE DAYTIME EMMYS AWARDS IN LAS VEGAS

It is hot in Las Vegas, 101 degrees in the shade, and hot at the Hilton, where hundreds of workers are busy preparing for a star-studded event Sunday night. It’s very exciting to be here at this moment. Costumers are running back and forth with bolts of cloth; set builders are filling the Showroom with three-story high structures; dancers and musicians are rehearsing on stage and off. You can hear the music emanating from the wings.

The hotel is packed with people who have flown in from all over the world to see the celebrities and watch the awards ceremony from the Showroom and on television sets all over the grounds. Stars of TV can be seen playing blackjack in the casinos, hosting tables in the restaurants, and generally having a great time.

MMR is in full attendance here – our commercials our cued up and ready to go; Kira is all set to cover the event from back stage and we look forward to introducing mymedicalrecords.com to an audience of more than 6 million people in just hours from now.

This Emmy weekend you would never know Las Vegas suffered during the recent recession. The crowds are milling about everywhere. There are thousands of Emmy guests at the Las Vegas Hilton. Dick Clark just arrived. Reservations at the top restaurants are hard to get, and some of the hotels are running at 97% capacity. America’s economy seems to be rebounding, and that’s a good thing for MMR.

When I look at all the people thronging the streets here, I remember that some 32 million could begin to be enrolled in the government’s healthcare program, and that virtually all will be tracked by some form of an Electronic Medical Record. We believe that MMR has the best solution for the Personal Health Record component of that EMR. .

I will continue to keep you posted from Las Vegas.

The Future of Healthcare starts here today……..

This coming Sunday many of you will watch the 37th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards on CBS. It is the first time an Emmy award show will be broadcast live from Las Vegas Nevada. Despite my 60 to 80 hour weeks working for MMRGlobal I found a few minutes this year at the RHL Group to help package this show. As a result I am one of the show’s Executive Producers.

Given the awareness of Obamacare and the growing interest in having a personal health record I negotiated a significant portion of fees that would otherwise have been paid to the RHL Group away in order to debut MMR as a national advertiser and sponsor of this 2 hour prime time program which is projected to reach as many as seven million people this Sunday night. This campaign is not free but it is necessary if MMRGlobal wants to be a leader in Global health care.

Recently GE has emerged as a major advertiser with their Healthymagination campaign. GE created Healthymagination to gather, share and discuss healthy ideas. about how one can make a difference in their future.

MMR’s campaign is entitled “The Future of Your Health at Work Today.”  At MMRGlobal we will begin the task of educating consumers on how they can make a difference in their future by having a Personal Health Record today.

This campaign will start on CBS and expand to multiple forms of media. It is shot with Kira and Mark as two separate spots that over time are intended to educate the public on why they need a PHR and encourage them to try it. Although we are very excited about this opportunity to brand MMR (like everything else) it takes time.

MMRGlobal believes that it has access to one of the biggest (if not the biggest) user bases of any personal health record in the world. The intent of this campaign is to begin the long process of making sure as many people as reasonably possible get exposed to the Company. We will start Sunday night.

What many of you do not know about MMR is that there is a team that works very hard for MMR to get things done for the benefit of shareholders. All members of this team are stakeholders in the Company. That’s why Kira created this spot last week. Eric and Christie worked from last Thursday nearly 48 hours straight to shoot, edit and post the spot internally. My friend Joel Sill (check him out) got the music written and the spot musically scored while Eric and Christie were doing the post production. And Bobbie hung around all weekend with me approving frame by frame as the spot came together. This is an effort that happens because we want to make MMRGlobal a significant part of the Future of Healthcare starting today.

Show your family you care and if you haven’t already, sign up for an MMR account today. Personally I hope you never need it. However if you do, you will be glad you have it.

Here is your sneak preview of the Future of Your Health at Work Today.

What’s Going on in my head…

Part of the job of being CEO of a public company is I get to interact with a rather large extended family of shareholders, employees and vendors. In fact, I look forward to meeting some of you at the Company’s upcoming Annual Shareholder Meeting this coming Tuesday. Invariably the question asked is “What’s going on in your head and how are things going at MMR?” The answer is simple. Read my to do list for today.

To Do List:
1) Daily morning briefing with Nihilent (India) development update.
2) Follow-up with Verizon/MMR application development program.
3) Get update from Rich on 34 doctor MMRPro system operating at surgical center.

_________________________________________
_________________________________________
The other question I get asked is what keeps me up at night? The answer is thinking about my To Do list for the next day.. I am excited about the progress this Company makes on a day to day basis.
I often reflect on how things come to you when you least expect them. Last Monday was one of those days. The June 7th issue of the New York Times had an article in Money & Policy entitled “Doctors and Hospitals Say Computerized Records Are Unrealistic.”
I think it was a gift to MMR. The article states that despite the tens of billions of dollars provided to doctors and hospitals to computerize medical records “the eligibility criteria proposed by the Obama administration are so strict and so ambitious that hardly any doctors or hospitals can meet them.”
This is the unfortunate truth. However we think that it’s Good News because the article also made the point that doctors and hospitals agree that electronic records can save lives by reducing medical errors and continue adopting this technology. The call is away from an all-or-nothing approach under HITECH We believe MMRGlobal has the best Personal Health Record and Physician Document Management systems that anyone can set up and immediately use from anywhere in the world. They work today nd it does not take billions in hardware or software to use it. In fact, you can set up an account faster than you can read the article at http://www.nytimes.com/2010/06/08/health/policy/08health.html

P.S. Kira is hosting the Green Room on the Daytime Emmy Awards June 27th on CBS. The show will be live from the Las Vegas Hilton. I am one of the Executive Producers and MMR is an event sponsor. So if any of you are looking for an excuse to join us in Las Vegas email info@mmrmail.com and we will try to accommodate your request for tickets. The proceeds from ticket sales will benefit Feed The Children.

The bond that links your true family is not one of blood, but of respect and joy in each other’s life. Rarely do members of one family grow up under the same roof. ― Illusions

Last week MMR introduced its new Blog re-designed to make it easier to communicate with you. This week the Company will begin an expanded social networking effort to educate readers on the importance of having a personal health record. As a result of these blogs and our social networking campaigns many of you have contacted me for more information about who I am and what I have done. So I hope this short excerpt helps…………

Robert H. “Bob” Lorsch is a Los Angeles businessman, entrepreneur and philanthropist. He founded MyMedicalRecords, Inc. in 2005, leading the company through a merger with the biotechnology company Favrille, Inc., which was completed in January 2009 to become MMR Information Systems, Inc. (MMRF). The Company plans on formerly becoming MMRGlobal after its annual meeting this June.

Mr. Lorsch continues to serve as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the public company, a provider of secure, easy-to-use consumer-controlled Personal Health Records (PHRs), www.mymedicalrecords.com, and electronic safe deposit box storage solutions, www.myesafedepositbox.com, that enable individuals and families to easily manage and access all their medical records and other important documents, whether paper-based or digital, in one secure online location.

The company’s newest product, MMRPro (www.mymedicalrecordsmd.com), distributed in conjunction with Kodak’s document imaging reseller organization, is designed to give physicians a cost-effective solution to digitizing patient charts while providing patients real time access to their medical records through an integrated PHR (www.mymedicalrecordsonline.com/videos).

Mr. Lorsch steered the development of the MyMedicalRecords PHR built on proprietary, patented technologies to bring an integrated communications platform to healthcare technology: MyMedicalRecords.com uses fax, phone, and file upload to transmit and store documents, images and voicemail messages in a confidential account that gives people access to their medical records and other vital documents, such as insurance policies, birth certificates and wills, anytime from anywhere in the world using the Internet.

As a result of MMR’s merger with Favrille, the company acquired intellectual property assets, including data from clinical vaccine trials and an anti-CD20 antibody that is a potential candidate for the next generation Rituxan®. Rituxan, used to treat Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma and other B-Cell malignancies, was the first monoclonal antibody approved by the FDA to treat cancer, and Mr. Lorsch retained GRSworldwide in 2009 to accelerate the time to market of the company’s anti-C20 antibody asset.

Mr. Lorsch also heads up the business management and investment-holding corporation, The RHL Group, Inc., www.rhlgroup.com, with diverse interests in e-commerce, entertainment production, biotechnology and nutritional products for pets www.dancingpaws.com.

From 1994-1998, he was Chief Executive Officer of SmarTalk TeleServices, Inc., leading the company he co-founded and led through a successful public offering in 1996, building it into one of the largest providers of prepaid telecommunications products and services in the world. Not wanting to leave Los Angeles Lorsch resigned from SmarTalk as it’s CEO in January 1998 after the company relocated to Columbus Ohio, however he remained one of its largest shareholders after the business was sold to AT&T more than a year after his departure more than eleven years ago .

Prior to that, he partnered with Pacific Bell Information Services to build a voice mailbox system that became part of the WinFax product offerings. In the 1980s, he built and headed Lorsch Creative Network, a full-service advertising and sales promotion agency specializing in marketing campaigns for national and international blue chip clients, including the ABC, CBS and NBC broadcast television networks, Campbell’s Soup, Johnson & Johnson, Procter & Gamble, Marvel Entertainment, Northrop Grumman, McDonald’s Corporation, and others.

Mr. Lorsch is a Member of the Board of Trustees of the California Science Center in Los Angeles, having also served a four-year term on the State-appointed Board of Directors. His support of science and technology was recognized in 1998 by Vice President Al Gore in his dedication of the new Science Center, where the Robert H. Lorsch Family Pavilion stands as the gateway to the museum in Exposition Park.

He also is a Member of the Board and of the Executive Committee of D.A.R.E. America; Member of the Board of Governors of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center; and Member of the Board of the Sheriff’s Youth Foundation. He has also served as a National
Vice President and President of the Executive Committee/Western Region of the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Further, he has been a major supporter of the John Wayne Cancer Institute; the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation; and the Thalians Mental Health Center at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Mr. Lorsch also served on the Personal Health Record Steering Committee of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), whose membership is comprised of leaders in the field of healthcare information technology.

Mr. Lorsch has received numerous honors and awards, including D.A.R.E. America’s “Future of America Award”; the Muscular Dystrophy Association’s “Humanitarian of the Year Award”; and the Starlight Children’s Foundation’s “Golden Wish Award.” He most recently received the 2009 Humanitarian Award from the charitable organizations Therapeutic Living Centers for the Blind and Love Across the Ocean.

For his public spirit, Mr. Lorsch was awarded the prestigious “C” Flag Private Sector Initiative from the White House during the Reagan Administration for his work in raising millions of dollars for financing state and local earthquake preparedness education. His efforts for the cause have also earned him awards from the City and County of Los Angeles, the State of California and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

Mr. Lorsch has been an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association and a member of the James Brady Presidential Foundation. He has been a featured speaker on personal health records and telecommunications at forums nationwide, including at MIT, and has been highlighted in hundreds of national and international newspapers and magazines in addition to making numerous television appearances. Mr. Lorsch’s marketing acumen and the role he played in the launch campaign for Microsoft Windows is acknowledged in the book “Barbarians Led by Bill Gates: Microsoft from the Inside.” His career of combining entrepreneurship and philanthropy is the focal point of one of the seven keys to success in the 2007 book, “The Millionaire Zone,” authored by ABC Radio Host Jennifer Openshaw, and his entrepreneurial spirit was also profiled in “The Engine of America,” written by Hector V. Barreto, former head of the U.S. Small Business Administration.  Mr. Lorsch resides in Bel-Air, California with his wife, actress-writer-producer Kira Reed Lorsch.

When you resist you are stuck with what you have……….

One of the lines that guide my day-to-day decision-making is “What you resist you are stuck with”. To me that means that when I resist change I am stuck with what I have. Over the past several days many of those reading this blog are stuck, and apparently want to stay stuck with what they have because they will not step “out of the box” and take advantage of the unique opportunity that have been and will continue to be placed in front of them. In this case I am specifically referring to MMR.

Several times over the past few months many of you have seen (and participated in) an exciting run up in MMRF share prices. In fact I am proud of the fact that MyMedicalRecords.com in just 15 months of operating as a public company has accomplished what it has. However in order to be successful and achieve greatness you cannot stand on the sidelines and watch, or pick up your chips because you believe something to good to be true, or even in some cases destroy the game because you have a need to be right.

On April 11 Business week quoted an article in Health Daily News which reminded us that “We are in the early days of electronic health record adoption” and suggesting again that there is still a long way to go in this very exciting trillion dollar market of health IT.

This is the place where MMR lives on a day-to-day basis. Therefore it baffles me as to why a very few who are scared to step out of the box and go to the next level seem to have the need to stay “Stuck where they are”.

As a person who has already created a one billion dollar company from a five thousand dollar investment and hundreds of millions of dollars of wealth for many, I recognize the barriers that are placed in front of me when they rear their ugly head. It is sometimes very difficult to break through those barriers which are erected by others who won’t step out of the box because of fear, or even worse the need to be right. Nothing has changed since the letter the Company published to shareholders this last Monday.

Many of you have speculated that I am full of surprises. And I can assure you I am. However I will not publish “surprises” until they are “signed, sealed and delivered”. MMR appreciates your enthusiasm and support of the Company and we appreciate your willingness to step out of the box and believe in us whether you are a user, customer, employee, shareholder or friend.

I need to sign off and go back to work now. I am working on the creation of a 2nd billion-dollar company. However, because I do not want to be stuck with what I already have, this morning I will convert another $200,000 of MMR debt due The RHL Group into equity which will add another million plus shares to my existing 60 million plus share holdings. The Form 4 will be filed today.

Last, to those of you who contact me and ask what’s happening to the company’s stock price I wish I could say I knew. However, the only thing I really know is that the opportunities ahead are still in front of us and every day the landscape gets more exciting. I appreciate all of you for your friendship and support so the best thing that I can do is to get to work and make things happen by stepping way “out of the box”.

NYC

After a redeye that arrived in New York at 8AM. Yesterday was an amazing whirlwind of a day. Operating on 2 days of no sleep, the media was not forgiving. They want every talking head on healthcare they can find and Kira’s and mine were two of them. (She will look better in front of a camera than me.) Then it was a day of business meetings involving nearly every aspect of MMR. Doug Helm is in New York with me and he is getting more involved with customers. Rich and AJ are now “living” in Dr.’s offices installing systems so Rich could not be with me. Then we spent the first half the day on Biotech assets working with GRS. Since GRS is also a partner in China we spent a good period of time on strategy over there and how to leverage Kodak’s ScanStation and other large iron hardware assets in China. Brad O’Leary flew in from Washington. He is on the company’s Board of Advisers and a large shareholder. He originally brought us to the NRA and is an affiliate marketing GURU. Affiliates (and the NRA) remain a focus of the company. We spent dinner with him and clients discussing worldwide marketing opportunities in the banking, insurance and affinity marketing space. Now I am off to customer meetings. Kira will do a media interview. This afternoon I will present a dry run of Thursdays investor presentation to a fund in New York that has followed us since HIMSS 2009. Many of our friends are calling to meet in New York. My email box is overflowing with notes that I am trying to keep up with. I wish I could respond to or see all of you however please understand it’s been a “whirlwind”. And tomorrow we have a large Kodak Reseller breakfast.
